How Do You Find Your Email Writing Voice?
What's Y.O.U.R Teacherpreneur Voice?
Not sure?
Or want to make certain it's what you want it to be?
I've ditched all the things "They" said to do, and started this email list.
One of the things I talk about is voice. Did you know that some teacherpreneurs use tons of commas and others use almost none?
Going further, some teacher authors guide gently using motherly words, where others light a fire under you like your high school softball coach.
Me?
I write like *I* talk. And I'm not just saying that to be "authentic." You need to trust me and hear me in my emails. Which is what you should do in your business too. Write like—YOU—talk.
But you might not know that having a voice shows off your teacherprenuer purpose.
It does.
So when you use an email template that everyone else uses…you sounds like everyone else and lose your voice.
That’s why I offer Email Starters. They just get you started and you write out all your ideas.
If you click the button at the bottom, you can grab one of my Email Starters called “Theme Weeks.” It’ll help you guide teachers through choosing the right themes and how much effort to put into them, etc. You’ll get a subject line, strategy behind the email, a call to action, the first few sentences of the email, AND I even tell you whether or not to sell in the email.
You’ll like the Email Starters, but you'll love the emails I send each week.
What you won't find here are those cringe-worthy, wannabe, fake, "I'm your teacher bestie" emails that shout, "Heeeeyy gurl!...", "'Sup Girl Boss, CEOpreneur..." or "I'm Katie and this is my dog Kip and we're the faces behind..."
Nah. Just not happening.
These emails are different.
These are emails that help you grow as a product description writer, as teacherpreneur, and business owner.
These emails help you know what to write and why you should write it.
